Melton “Dink” Tullier

Melton Joseph “Dink” Tullier, a native and resident of Sorrento, La, entered eternal rest on March 1, 2022, at the age of 83. He was an active member of Sorrento Baptist Church. Survived by his children and their spouses, Glenn & Michelle Tullier and Susan & Mike “Chan” Gautreau. Also survived by his grandsons, Cody (Casey) Tullier, Micah (Sydnee) Gautreau, and Dillon Gautreau; 3 great grandchildren, Hoyt Tullier, Mattie and Baker Gautreau; brother J.A. (Cheryl) Tullier; sister Geraldine Gautreau; sister-in-laws Shirley Tullier and Deborah Lee; brother-in-law, Johnny Wild; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife; Nancy Lee Tullier; parents Christopher & Elvina Tullier; brother David Tullier. He was known as “Cuz” by his former coworkers with Turner Industries and SLC Contracting at BASF. Visitation will be held at Sorrento Baptist Church, 8275 Main St., Sorrento, LA, on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 9:30am with memorial service to follow at 11:00am. Burial later at New River Baptist Church cemetery.
