Louis Boyd Young
Louis Boyd Young was born on October 15, 1952, in New Orleans and passed from this life on January 30, 2022, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center at the age of 69 years.
Boyd was a resident of Baton Rouge; he enjoyed fishing and music and had a passion for his animals.
He is preceded in death by his parents Louis John and Gloria Petty Young.
Survivors include his brother David T. Young and wife Carol, nephew Benjamin W. Young and wife Taylor, niece Lauren M. Young, and ex-wife Marsha Dubuisson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to ASPCA are requested.
The family expresses heartfelt appreciation and thanks to the staff of ICU Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet, and especially to Dr. Alice Rear, and nurses Danica and Ellie.
Funeral arrangements are currently pending.
