Romona Marie Barragan Blankenship Doiron

Romona Marie Barragan Blankenship Doiron, native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 57. Romona had a heart full of love and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. When she was young, she loved spending time with her Paw Paw Clark. Romona is survived by her children, Keith Barragan (Brandi), Brett Barragan, Robert Barragan, Cherish Blankenship, Eric Blankenship, Shasta Kelley (Bryce), Desiray Barragan, Destiny Barragan; first husband and life companion in her later years, Macon Dale Blankenship; nieces, Tricia Barragan Weigel, Lisa Hammack Featherson, Casey Barragan Broussard, Cobi Barragan; nephew, Cody Barragan; 19 grandchildren; 8 great nieces and nephews; uncles, Floyd Barragan and Anthony Clark as well as numerous cousins and extended family. Romona is preceded in death by her partner, James Benton; husband, Bo Doiron; granddaughter, Semaya Blankenship; parents, Severo and Frances Clark Barragan; sister, Teresa Barragan; brother, Anthony Barragan; sister, Patricia Barragan Hammack ; brother, Luis Barragan; niece, Monica Hammack Holmes; grandparents, Julian Barragan, Eufema Torres Barragan, Xavier Clark, Lena Angona Clark. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Baker, LA at 11am. The family would like to thank all the family and friends who assisted financially with funeral expenses.
