Todd Joseph Granier

Todd Joseph Granier, born in Baton Rouge and a resident of Gonzales, passed to eternal life on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the age of 57.

He was an exceptional handyman and had a long and successful career as an Industrial Refrigeration Technician working many years at both Kleinpeter Dairy and Process Refrigeration Systems. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and playing guitar in his free time. Any that were lucky to know him would describe him as hardworking, kindhearted, playful, energetic, and an entertainer. His door was always open to anyone in need.  He was a wonderful storyteller and would have you holding your breath and smiling while hanging on every word. He was an incredibly loving father to his children and enjoyed giving them long lectures on compassion and good values while sitting in the driveway in his white Ford truck. He was a friend to all, and his absence will be felt with heavy hearts.

He is survived by his daughter, Alicia Granier; daughter-in-law, April Granier; grandchildren Lai Lah and Leland Granier; sister, Sheila Perrault (Louis); brothers, Brent Granier (Nancy) and Keith Granier (Sherry).  He is preceded in death by his son, Adam Granier; father, Henry Granier; mother, Shirley Gautreau Granier; sisters Brenda Granier and Vanessa Prettelt; and a brother Kenneth Granier.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, Jan 27, 7-9 pm at The Gonzales KC Hall, 230 S. Irma Avenue, Gonzales.  All are invited to attend and share in remembering Todd.
