James David “Tiger” Hearld
Dave, “Tiger” passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January, 11th, 2022 at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA.
He was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Old River in Batchelor, LA; a retiree of Georgia-Pacific in Port Hudson and a ’68 graduate of Redemptorist High School.
He is survived by his son, Jude Hearld and a daughter, Jordan Hearld. Also survived by his brothers, Ronnie Whitaker and Pat Hearld; one sister, Nancy Hearld Spurgeon and his devoted friend, Miss Gwen Bailey as well as many grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Preceded in death by his son, Dusty Hearld and his parents, James and Hazel Hearld.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate his life at Old River Landing at a later date.
Dave’s family would like to extend a sincere Thank You to all the first responders, doctors, nurses and the entire medical staff at Ochsner Medical Center for all the love and attention shown to Dave and his family during their time of need.
