Rosalind Yvette Strowder
Rosalind Yvette Strowder, a native and life-long resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the age of 62. She was a loving mother, sister,grandmother, and friend, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to all types of music and watching TV.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Anna T. Jordan Community Park ( 1750 Stilt St., Baton Rouge, LA 70807) from 2pm until 5pm.
On behalf of our family would like to thank friends and family for all their love, comfort, and support during this time of bereavement and during her illness. You may have called, text, sent social media post, cards, and or floral arrangements in our time of need. Whatever you did to console our hearts we thank you.
A special thank you for her medical team, OLOL inpatient hospitalist, Ms. Kamara Blakes, FNP, Dr. William Varnadao-Oncologist and the OLOL 5 North Oncology team. Lastly, we so thankful for the staff at The Crossing-Clarity Hospice.
From your Children: Mama you were so strong through it all. You have faced many challenges but always came out a “winner”. You made the adjustments and always put your family and friends first, even before you own needs. We can hear you say “I will be alright”. You loved us and your grandchildren and we all know you had a “favorite” (insider). We will love you forever and you will always forever in our hearts.
