Glenda Fay Buras Cedotal, age 81 passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021, one month after her beloved son, Clint Cedotal. Daughter of the late Frank Buras and Verna Smith Buras. Survived by her husband of 57 years, James A “Jimmy” Cedotal of Gonzales. Loving mother of Helen Cedotal Roy (Kenneth), Allison Cedotal Dickerson and the late Clint Cedotal (Heather). Grandmother of Kylie Roy, Denise Roy, Everly Dickerson, Nicholas Bickham (Hannah), Brant Cedotal and Ryan Cedotal. Also survived by great granddaughter Margo Mae Bickham; brothers: Elwood Buras (the late Gloria), Leander Buras (the late Linda). Also, a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by siblings and their spouses: Lucille Bernard (Paul), Mercedes Broussard (Hester), Vera Dean (Bill), Bertrand Buras (Agnes), Irvin Buras, Hazel Smith (Marcus), Esther Loga (Ellis) and Myrtle Buras. Father-in-law Spaulding “Foots” Cedotal, Mother-in-law Helen Johnson Cedotal, Brother-in laws Spaulding “Sparky” Cedotal, Michael David Cedotal (the late Marylou) and Jasen Cedotal.
She was a native of Venice, LA and a long-time resident of Ascension Parish, residing in Gonzales.
Visitation is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021 at The Church International of St. Amant, 13423 LA Hwy. 431, St. Amant, Louisiana, 70774. Glenda will be laid to rest at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, 604 E. Hwy. 30, Gonzales, Louisiana, 70737 immediately following funeral services. All are welcomed to attend.
