Michael Patrick Divincenti, Sr.

November 17, 1968 – October 13, 2021

Michael Patrick DiVincenti, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the age of 52, after a brave battle with cancer. Beloved son of Phyllis DiVincenti and the late Ronald DiVincenti, Sr. Loving father of Michael DiVincenti, Jr. and Brandon DiVincenti. Brother of Ronald DiVincenti, Jr. (Wendy), Glen DiVincenti (Christine) and Steven DiVincenti (Josephine). Proud grandfather of Alexis DiVincenti, Alyssa DiVincenti and Arianna DiVincenti. Caring Godfather to Jessica DiVincenti Palmeri, Katelynn Pembrook, Jami Rimkus, Zachary Hardy, Shalynn DiVincenti and Paiyne DiVincenti. He is preceded in death by his nephew, Ronald DiVincenti, III and his niece, Kayla DiVincenti. He is survived by his former spouse and mother of his children, Laura Schehr, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Michael was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. He enjoyed fishing, football and fast cars, especially his corvette. He also loved spending quality time with family and friends. Michael was a known and loved jokester, as he truly enjoyed making others laugh. He had a heart of gold and was always helping others. He thoroughly enjoyed life and will be greatly missed by all. Family and friends are invited to attend services at Cornerstone Church of God, 4905 E St. Bernard Highway in Violet on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
