Judy Ann Morrell

Judy Ann Morrell, born in Monroe, LA, and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the age of 65. She began her career in Monroe with People’s Homestead Bank then transitioned to Capital One Bank and worked as the accounting manager in the mortgage servicing department. Judy had a kind and giving heart. She loved children and was an avid donor to St. Jude Children’s Medical Research Hospital. Judy enjoyed reading and especially cookbook, but did not like to cook. She loved watching all Disney movies. She loved to shop and buy gifts for everyone, especially for children.

Judy is survived by her sister, Marilyn Morrell as well as numerous cousins and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Peter Morrell and Virginia Scalia Morrell; and sister, Rosalie Morrell.

A memorial service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held later.
