Lynda Burnett Bode

Devoted mother and grandmother, Lynda Burnett Bode, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, August 27, 2021 at 73 years old. Born on October 18, 1946 in Jackson, Mississippi. Lynda, is proceeded in death by her husband, Gean Bode; parents, Arden and Maxine Burnett. She is survived by her son, Alan Gean Bode and spouse Jara Naquin Bode, as well has her daughter, Allyson Richardson and spouse Darryl Richardson, along with her grandchildren Liam, Sawyer, Amelia, Jude, and Sarah-Keller.  Lynda was also survived by her sister, Cindy Mann, and family members that loved her very much. Lynda will always be remembered by her sweet southern smile and neck hugs that wrapped around your heart. Whether it was a road trip to the happiest place on Earth or a drive through Gatlinburg’s Smokey Mountains, she was ready to be the co-pilot. Spending time with her family, gathered by the head of the table laughing, will be moments that will be cherished. Services to celebrate her life will take place at 10am on Friday, September 17, 2021 in the Healing Place Church Annex on Highland Road in Baton Rouge.
