A ceremony celebrating the life of Francis A. Vicknair will be held at 10 am on Thursday at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church St Amant, visitation will begin at 9 am.
Mrs. Vicknair was born on September 7, 1953, in New Orleans and passed from this life on August 8, 2021, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center Main Campus at the age of 67 years.
She enjoyed eating at restaurants, playing bingo, and watching T V game shows. She especially enjoyed time spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Norwood William and Ollie Allen, siblings Mary Ann, Willie, and Billy Allen, mother-in-law Rose Vicknair, father-in-law Dalton Vicknair Sr., sister-in-law Christine Mikleuc, and brother-in-law Steven Vicknair.
Survivors her husband Dalton Vicknair Jr., children Heather Vicknair, and Dalton Vicknair III, daughter-in-law Lakeisha Vicknair, son-in-law Patrick Wardrop III., grandchildren Jessica, Madisen, Dax, Patrick, Madison, Brody, Gavin, Andree, and Dalton IV.
