Patricia (Pat) Boudin

Patricia (Pat) Boudin went home to meet our Lord on August 4, 2021. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was born February 17, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. She moved with her mother as a young child to Bay St. Louis, Ms. In her late 20’s she moved to Gonzales, La. In her mid 30’s she moved to Prairieville, La. and has resided there since. Her love for God is immeasurable. She instilled her faith and love of God to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Shortly, before she passed, she wrote: she loved us, go to Church and Love God. She was raised Catholic and in 1996 she joined Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. She was very active with the prayer lines and getting Bibles to those in need. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. She cherished time with family, loved to read and travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter J. Smith and Martha M. Usey, her first husband, William P. Carbonette, second husband, John L. Boudin, Sr., sister, Melinda Garcia and daughter, Bonnie Ness.

She is survived by daughter, Cathy and husband Mark Johnson, daughter, Sharon and husband Michael Mamer, son, Michael and wife Michelle Boudin, son, Johnny and wife Cheri Boudin, son, George (Joey) and wife Tammy Boudin, daughter, Gail Boudin and partner Mike, Son in law, Steve and wife Kim Ness. She had 27 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to the exceptional care she received at Baton Rouge General from her physicians, nurses and medical staff. They are true Heroes. May God protect them in their fight to beat Covid 19.
