Katherine M. James

Katherine M. James, a native of Seminole, TX and resident of St. Amant passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the age of 66.  Katherine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who loved to spend time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren and being outside, working in her yard and garden.  Katherine is survived by her husband, Kermit James; daughter, Leslie James Dupuy and husband Rodney Dupuy Jr.; son, Bryan James and Wife Cammie L James; her grandchildren, her heart and joy, 3 of which lived with her, Montana Dupuy, Abriana, Kamryn, and Mariella James; brothers, Lloyd Hooper and Glenn Hooper; sister, Barbara Hooper Petterson.  Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph E Hooper and Mary Helen Belding Hooper.  A private Life Celebration Service will be held at a later date.  To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.churchfuneralservices.com .   Arrangements entrusted with Church Funeral Services of St. Amant .
