Grant Tyler Griffin

Grant Tyler Griffin, 24, was called home to be with his Lord early Tuesday morning on July 13th, 2021. A native of Prairieville, and graduate of Dutchtown High School Class of 2015, Grant achieved licensure as an Arborist, and enjoyed spending his time engrossed in his movies, music, and reading. The world could have passed Grant by while he delved deep into a book. He also loved being able to spend time with his family, proudly working with his Dad, and especially liked being there for his niece and nephew Rylee and Sawyer Griffin, whom he’d do anything for at any time. He is survived by parents Jeffrey and Penny Griffin, siblings Faith and Tristan Griffin, grandparents Tommy Griffin (Judy), Vallrie Lemoine, uncles John Griffin (Julie) and Allen Lemoine (Jill), and a host of beloved extended relatives, including his dear cousin Slade Griffin, to whom he shared a special friendship. A ceremony celebrating the life of Grant will be held on Friday, July 16th, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Fellowship Church, 14363 LA-73, Prairieville. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM, internment to follow at Oak Lane Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are with Church Funeral Services, St. Amant 225-644-9683
