Lettie Capers
Marie was born in Atmore, Alabama on July 16, 1953 and passed from this life on Thursday May 6, 2021 at ST Jospeh Hospice, The Carpenter House Baton Rouge at the age of 67 years.
She was a resident of Gonzales, a homemaker, and a member of First Apostolic Church Gonzales. She enjoyed shopping, conversation, flowers, and eating boudin balls.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence “Peewee” Capers, parents Erby Lee and Marbus Roberts, sisters Debra and Marilyn, brother Brent Elroy.
Survivors include her children Gregory Capers, Brandly Capers, and Jamie Capers Rousseau, brother Darrell Robers, also survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
