Adam Colin Moreland, age 38 of Prairieville, passed from this life on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
A loving son, father, brother and uncle, Adam leaves behind to cherish his memories with his mother, Shelia Moreland; his children, Dylan Townsend (22), Micah (17) and Gage (15) Moreland, loving sisters and brother; Ashley Barnes and husband Larry, Michelle Moreland and fiancé Mike Cage, and Andrew Moreland, Sr.; nephews Larry Barnes, III, Andrew Moreland, Jr. and Mike Cage, III and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Adam is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Adam and Joy Gautreau and cousins Jordan Soulier and Phillip Keller.
An avid fisherman who never met a stranger, Adam was a kind and caring friend to all. He enjoyed the outside, and spending time with his loved ones. Remembered as the life of the party with his infectious laugh and quick wit, he never failed to put a smile on those around him. Adam will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2021, in Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery, 37577 Duplessis Road, Prairieville, LA 70769, for family and friends. Arrangements by Church Funeral Services in St. Amant, LA.
