Deanna S. Grantham

Deanna S. Grantham, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the age of 70.  Deanna earned her bachelor’s degree at Louisiana State University of Shreveport and followed her calling to be a social worker for special needs children.  Deanna is survived by her husband, James Lester Grantham; daughter, Jasmine Ariel McCarty; sisters, Eileen Sweat Maricle and Valarie Sweat Feazel; brothers, Kevin Monteith and Byron Sweat.  She is preceded in death by her parents, R.B. Sweat and Lillian McDaniel; brothers, Louis Monteith, Mike Sweat, Anthony Sweat.  A memorial to celebrate Deanna’s life will take place on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Pineville Church of Christ (3605 LA-28, Pineville, LA 71360) from 6:30pm  until 8:30pm.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Deanna’s honor to Pineville Church of Christ.  To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.churchfuneralservices.com .  Arrangements entrusted with Church Funeral Services of Baton Rouge.
