Dianne Bunch Stafford

Dianne Bunch Stafford, a resident of Walker, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on June 15, 2021, in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born on December 10, 1939, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  She was a faithful member of Revival Temple Church in Walker.  She deeply loved her family, friends, and church family, and was greatly loved in return.  She was the beloved wife of Kenneth “KO” Stafford, beloved mother of Debbie King (Keith), Charlotte Borne (AP) and Tonya Landry (Sam), beloved sister to Marsha Burkholder (Burke), Frankie Welch, and Kathy Lockhart (Johnny); beloved grandmother to Shannon King, Justin King, Tommy Lockhart, Brian Lockhart, Brandi Turland, Ryan Stewart, Garrett Stewart, Korey Landry, and Kyle Landry; and beloved great grandmother to 14 beautiful great grandchildren.

She was a retired school bus driver for Livingston Parish.  A special thanks to the care team at Hospice of Baton Rouge and Total Live in Care of Denham Springs- especially caregivers Lanisha and Sharon for the love, compassion, and care that they gave our momma.

She was preceded in death by her parents Reverend Frank “Bo” Bunch and Hazel Courtney Bunch, brother Clarence Bunch, brother-in-law Greg Welch and great granddaughters Addie and Grace Duffy.

A ceremony celebrating the life of Dianne will be held on Thursday at 12 noon at Revival Temple Church Walker, visitation will begin at 10 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family respectively asks that memorial gifts be given to honor her life and memory; through Revival Temple Missions, as Dianne had a heart for Missions, or Baton Rouge Parkinson’s Foundation.  To give, please visit https://www.ilof.com/st-amant/dianne-bunch-stafford
