Alice Virginia Pullen Sinclair

Alice Virginia Pullen Sinclair, age 83, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2021. Visitation will be held at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70818 on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:00pm with services to be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Glen Miers as officiant with graveside services in the church cemetery.

Virginia was born in Poplarville, MS on October 4, 1937 and was a long time resident of Central, LA. She and her husband were business owners of Sinclair’s Army Surplus for 36 years. Virginia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was a faithful servant of the Lord; and enjoyed hosting parties for family and friends for many years.

She is survived by her faithful husband of 63 years, Robert “Bob” Sinclair; four children, Robert Glenn Sinclair and wife Becky, Brenda Vaughan and husband Walter, Barbara Rhodes and husband Matt and Pamela Kimball and husband Michael “Mike”;  grandchildren, Tiffany (David) Griffith, Danielle Gonzales, Kyle Melancon, Josh (Kim) Vaughan, Ashley Nix, Connor Vaughan, Brandon (Whitney) Rhodes, Kyle (Kristi) Rhodes, Brittany Kimball, Bryan (Lynn) Kimball; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jacob, Luke, Samantha, Phillip, Grant, Matthew, Sunnie, Allie, Charleigh, Parker, Kayden, Kellan, Clayton and Aubrey.

Preceded in death by her parents, Edd and Alice Jenkins Pullen; brother, Edward Pullen.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Rhodes, Kyle Rhodes, Bryan Kimball, Connor Vaughan, Brent Geiger and Byron Reid.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan, Jacob and Luke Griffith, Phillip and Grant Nix, Matthew Rhodes, Clayton Kimball and Kellan Friedman.

The family wishes to express appreciation to Dr. T. Lane Folse, Dr. Steven Brierre,  Central Fire Department, EMS, Baton Rouge Hospice Butterfly Wing for your service and kindness.
