Rogers passed on Tuesday,  April 13, 2021 at the age of 83.  

Praise the Lord he is healed, he is happy, and he is whole!!!!

Rogers gave his heart to the Lord August 24, 2003 at 65 years old, it’s never too late.

Born March 31,1938 in Brusly St. Martin.  Rogers retired from Petro Chemical Industry in 1996 and SSD in 2017. He leaves behind in the hands of the Lord, the love of his life, best friend, and godly wife, Mary Pauline Sublett Albarado; sons,  Anthony “Tony” Albarado (Annette), Paul Haney (Von), Kenneth “K.J.” Haney (J’onnell), Sean Belding (Marlena); daughters, Angela Albarado Lee (Kendall), Beth Ann Boudreaux (Duane), Deborah Lorraine Freeman (Jerome); grandchildren, Beau Albarado, Abby Marie Albarado, Kendall Renae Lee, Mckenzie  Lee, Kyle Watson (April), Jacob Watson, Joseph Freeman (Courtney), Sarah Lorraine Joiner (Cazavion), Cade Bourgeois, Cameron, Caleb, and McKenna Haney, Burke Haney, Joey Rushing , Maggie Rushing, Gil Belding, Margery “Bird” Belding, Christopher Boudreaux (Heather); great-grandchildren, Cooper J., Savanna, Bailee, and Evelyn Jane Freeman, Madison Grace Watson, Ella, Stevie, and Raelynn Boudreaux, brothers, Lanson Albarado (Judy), Rumsey Jr. Albarado (Judy); sister, Kathleen Gillespie; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Sublett, Donna Sublett and Jeanne Lorraine Sublett; as well as a host of nieces and nephews that hold special places in his life.   Rogers is preceded in death by parents, Rumsey and Odette Albarado; son, Jerry L. Haney, Jr.; In-laws, James and Lorraine Sublett; grandparents, Alcide and Annie Albarado, Henry and Ella Charlet; brothers-in-law, James Jr., Benjamin, and William “Dee” Sublett; sister-in-law, Sylvia Lee Sublett.

Visitation will be held at The Church of St. Amant on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 9:30 am until a memorial service to celebrate Rogers life beginning at 11am.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date. 

The family would like to thank Hospice Compassus, Dr. Gerald Calegan, and Dr. Vincent Tumminello for all their compassion in caring for Rogers.
