Virgil Lynn Palmer
Virgil Lynn Palmer, 65, of Walker, LA, passed away on February 25, 2021 from complications due to Covid 19.
Virgil and Sheryl enjoyed retired life, and loved being greeters at Healing Place Church. Virgil loved building model cars, watching football, and fixing stuff, even when there were extra pieces left over. He loved his family, and serving the lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil L. Palmer and Erma Lee Black. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sheryl Palmer; two sons – Brandon Palmer and wife Christy, and Michael Palmer; his niece, who was like a daughter, Michele Garlington and husband Jason; his five grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren; and his sister Lisa Bishop.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Healing Place Church Annex, 19202 Highland Road in Baton Rouge from 10:00 AM until the service at 12:00 PM.
