Rebecca Lawson

Rebecca Lynn Lawson born August 9, 1964 in Kingsport, TN passed away on February 15, 2021 in Gonzales, LA. She was a resident of Gonzales, LA and a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all. Rebecca enjoyed gardening, collecting hotwheels, taking rides on her Honda Rebel motorcycle, and playing with her grandbabies and fur babies.

She is survived by her father David Ray Elam and two sisters Lisa Daigle and Laura Lane. Also survived by two brothers Ricky Elam and David Elam. As well as her son Joshua Abadie, her daughter Necole Abadie, granddaughter Mikayla Byington, grandson Alexander “Do Little” Byington, and her pitbull fur babies Pris and Lil Man.

She is preceded in death by her mother Linda Brock Shamp.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday February 26, 2020 at Healing Place Church AMEX visitation will begin at 10:30 am with services to follow at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends of Rebecca Lawson who prefer to provide a memorial contribution may do so. The family will use these to honor Rebecca’s life and memory. Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts throughout this challenging time.
