Solomon P. Templet Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Solomon P. Templet Jr., will be 11 am Thursday January 21, 2021 at St. Mark Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cornerview Cemetery.
Mr. Templet was born on September 23, 1948 in Gonzales and passed from this life on January 17, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 72 years.
He was a resident of Gonzales, retired with National Food Store and Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office.
He is preceded in death by his parents Solomon and Catherine Mire Templet, siblings Nita Nickens and Charlie Templet.
Survivors include his wife Trish Templet, sons Brett Templet (Ellen), and Ron Templet (Lawanna), stepson Bryan Manning, grandchild Bailey, Tyler, Cade Templet, Courtney and Taylor Templet, and Kaley Langston, siblings Glendora Lawless (Rodney), Sandra Lambert, Bonnie Moore (Matt), Edmond Templet (Kim), Terry Templet (Delbra), Eileen Clouatre (Mike), and Cathy Templet; also survived by 4 great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews.
