Janet Elizabeth Guedry Lambert

Janet Elizabeth Guedry Lambert, born in Baton Rouge and resident of St. Amant gained her wings on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the age of 64.  Janet was the glue of her family and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Janet was a graduate of East Ascension High School.  She is survived by her loving husband, Ricky Lambert; daughters, Misti Leggett (Anthony), Tobi Ebarb (John), Chanta Lambert; son, Beau Guedry (Juliette); grandchildren, Dylan Guedry, Devan Guedry, Shelby Guedry and Rikki Lambert; great grandchild, Kreed Guedry; siblings, Carol Marcus, Linda Averett (Donald), Jackie LaValley, Gail Lebeau, Eddie Lebeau (Catherine), Joe Lebeau (Mary), Joy Lebeau, Jimmy Lebeau (Tracy), as well as a host of nieces, nephews and many devoted friends.  Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie “Pip” Lebeau and Helen Babin Lebeau; her first husband, Rufus Anthony Guedry.  A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, celebrated by Fr. Jerry Martin.  James ”Jimmy” Lebeau, Anthony Leggett, John Ebarb, Dylan Guedry will serve as pallbearers.  Devan Guedry will serve as honorary pallbearer.  In lieu of flowers, a donation made in Janet’s honor to the American Heart Association.  Arrangements entrusted with Church Funeral Services of St. Amant.  To offer condolences to the family, please www.churchfuneralservices.com .
