Marshall William Bourgeois, Jr. “Bubba” “Bubbles”

A native of Baton Rouge, and a resident of New Orleans, he passed away at his home on December 30, 2020 at the age of 26 years. He was survived by his parents, Marshall William and Cherilyn (Landry) Bourgeois, Sr.; sister Jaelyn Bourgeois; grandparents, Audron “Poochie” and Mary Jane (Diez) Bourgeois, and Emelda (Domingue) Landry. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kirby Landry. Marshall worked his way up from dishwasher to line cook and was being groomed as a sous chef at Shaya Restaurant in New Orleans. He had a great love for his family and had built a great relationship with God. He changed his lifestyle, eating habits and had gotten physically fit. Some of his achievements included getting his GED and after completion of a substance abuse program, he was selected to be a mentor to other program participants.  He enjoyed gardening, glass blowing, spending time with his family and exploring new places – especially in New Orleans.
