Judith Ann Draeger Dunn “Judy”

Judy Draeger Dunn, loving mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of God went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 3, 2021 at Gonzales Healthcare Center after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.  She was 77 years old.   Judy was born on December 17, 1943 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Louis and Beth Draeger.  After moving from Oklahoma to New Mexico and Kansas, Judy’s family moved to Baton Rouge where she graduated from Istrouma High School.  She was a longtime member of Household of Faith Church and most recently, she attended The Church International in St. Amant, Louisiana.  She was devoted to her church family and spent her life lovingly serving God.  She participated in various mission projects including The Glory House in Baton Rouge, Glen Eyrie in Colorado and she spent a summer ministering in Israel.  Judy loved music and at a young age, taught herself to play the piano. She enjoyed singing, crafting, decorating and was a talented seamstress.  She is survived by three sons and their wives, Shane & Stacie, Tab & Becky and Kyle & Michelle Harris; seven grandchildren Quinn, Conner (Alyssa), Grant, Abby, Collin, Carson and Peyton Harris and a sister Sharon Rose of Dallas, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as, sister Jayme Rose, brother Barry Draeger and husband Tom Dunn.  Graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, January 16th at Oak Lane Memorial Cemetery in Prairieville, Louisiana.   Special thanks to Gonzales Healthcare and New Century Hospice for their compassion and care for Judy.     For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, so that he who believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16
