Frederick Henry Godwin
Frederick Henry Godwin was born on July 2, 1945, in Fountain City, Tennessee. He passed away on January 12, 2021 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He loved the mountains of East Tennessee, was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, and was a CPA and retired employee of Ethyl/Albemarle.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; son David and Kay Godwin and their children Evan and Ashley; son Jim Godwin and Sally Farrar and family; brother Robert and Karen Godwin and family; sister Rosanne and Ron Kerley and family; sister Mary Godwin; and in-laws – Sharon and Robert Jefferson, Hoyt and Lynn Eason, Bob and Tina Silva, and David and Marcie Eason and their families.
A celebration of his life will be held out-of-state at a later date.
The family would like to thank the Baton Rouge General Covid ICU, and the wonderful staff at the Carpenter House.
