Cis carried many titles during her lifetime. She was a daughter, sister, friend, wife, mom, grandmother and great grandmother but this beautiful lady was a GIVER. It has been a great privilege to have known and loved her.
One of my favorite memories of Pelican Point was of you visiting the clubhouse. Always enjoyable to have you around. Prayers to your family.
I haven’t seen Cynthia in over 50 years – and just a day or so ago, it finally clicked in my brain that she is Jamie’s mom and Sam is his dad! I have very fond memories of them from high school – though she was a year younger, Cynthia was always in the middle of whatever was going on (I bet she has been this same way during these years I haven’t seen her!) Such a lovely, sweet, fun, crazy girl. My heart and my prayers go to all of you during this sad time. I pray that God will wrap His mighty arms of love and peace and comfort around all of you and give you peace and comfort for your hearts. I know there are many wonderful memories – let those comfort you as well. My condolences and love to the whole family.
To my most precious friend. We didn’t see each other often, but when we did she always made me laugh and sometimes “cry” ugh!! One thing I will always remember her telling me when I was worried about something was “go with your gut”. She was such a great friend. Cis you have a special place in my heart. Rest in peace my friend. Love ya!
Cynthia and I were friends in grade school in Victoria, Texas. Our dads worked for Dupont and both of us moved out of Victoria in 9th grade. She went to Louisiana and I went to Deer Park ,TX. After I moved to BatonRouge in 1968 I saw her a couple of times. In fact the last time I saw her, I loaned her my 1967 yearbook, but never got around to getting it back. Would have loved to have seen her one more time. Time passes so fast, we always think we have tomorrow to catch up.
Loved you and always loved our visits when we met up somewhere in our beautiful Ascension Parish. Rest in Peace!
I love you Mom. Thank you for making life fun. I have so many awesome memories with you that I will forever cherish. Give Gracie a hug and a kiss for me. ❤️❤️
