Kenneth Ray James Templet

A graveside service celebrating the life of Kenneth Ray James Templet will be held at 11 am on Thursday January 14, 2021 at Garden of Memory Hope Haven Cemetery Gonzales, officiated by Fr. Joe of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Mr. Templet was born on December 15, 1957 in Gonzales and passed from this life on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at his residence in St Amant at the age of 63 years. He was a retired electrician, and loved watching LSU Tigers, Saints, and the Cubs.

Kenny played the horn and sung with different bands, Boogie Centric, Last Chance, The Chance Band, Automatic, Coozan, Ronnie Melancon and Night Moves, and Last Call. He will be missed by family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lucien and Lois Gautreau Templet, sister Janet Fontenot and niece Melanie Fontenot.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-five years Jennie Millet Templet, children Allison & Ben Laurie, – Harper and Audrey; Shaun and Brandy Templet, – Parrish, Hannah, and Quentin; Paul and Tammy Molliere, – Dakota; Lance Kling – Braydon and Kane; siblings Perry and Judy Templet, Larry and Cherie Templet, Kevin and Laurie Templet, Vickie and Troy Edmonston, and Diane Templet.

The family would like to thank all the nurses of Clarity Hospice, Clara Brumfield, Katie David, Stephine Melancon, Jamie Ross, Jen Commission, Wendi Reed, and Terri Washington, and Church Funeral Services.
