Ernest Ray Alford Ii
Ernest Ray Alford II, a native of Zachary and resident of Baker, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the age of 54. He worked in construction, loved cars of all kinds, and loved to build things.
He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents – William and Annie Alford; his maternal grandparents – Henry Allen Johnson and Elsie Hughes; his brother Jonathan Lane Alford; and niece Brandi Nicole Fontenot.
He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Givens; his father Ernest R. Alford I; his daughters – Natasha Alford Taylor, Seirra Alford Hernandez, and Desiray Barragon; his sister Anna Alford; brothers – Herman J. “Slick” Alford and Steven B. Alford; and his five grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Church Funeral Services, located at 9422 Florida Blvd, Suite D1, Walker, LA 70785 on Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 10:00 am until the funeral service which begins at 12:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm at Azalea Rest Cemetery, on HWY 964 near Mt.Pleasant-Zachary Road in Zachary, LA 70791.
