Lee Edward Mcfarland

Lee Edward McFarland was born January 4, 1951 in New Orleans, LA to the union of Essie B. McFarland and the late Eddie Lee McFarland. Lee “Mac” received the Lord as his Savior at an early age at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church where he was baptized, Mac’s past time was putting together puzzles and if anybody would touch his puzzles, he would go off because he didn’t want any pieces to be lost se we would leave his puzzle alone and when he would finish; my mom would glue cardboard and place the puzzle on so he could hand it on his bedroom wall. Lee was a very helpful to everybody that wanted his help.

 

On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at the age of 69, God dispatched an angel to Lee Edward’s bedside at St. Joseph Hospice, The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, LA with instructions to bring His child to his eternal home.

 

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: mother, Essie B. McFarland; brother, Henry Michael McFarland; sister, Sylvia Williams (Lee); five nephews, six nieces, nineteen great nieces and nephews; thirteen great-great nieces and nephews; two God-sisters; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 

Lee Edward was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Lee McFarland; grandparents, Eddie and Grace Hales; sister, Alma Louise McFarland; brother, Bracy “B.J” Jordan and great nephew, Clifton Drummer, IV
