Kenneth “Kenny” Frederic

Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Frederic passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the age of 60 years. He was an avid fan and supporter of LSU Football, Baseball and Donald J Trump and soon to be the grandfather of Lucy Jo Smith (his 1st granddaughter). With a love of Music, Karaoke, his 3 children, Chase, Chatta and Chanie but above all his beloved wife Kristi Davenport Frederic. For the last 8 years, Kenny was employed by B & H Distributors, Inc., an industrial corrosion control company.  He was a NACE Certified Lead Inspector for all RCRA and Secondary Containment areas plant wide at the Syngenta site in St. Gabriel.  He was well known and highly respected by the industry and all his co-workers. Born Oct 13th, 1959 at Prevost Hospital Donaldsonville. La and raised in St. Amant La. attending St. Amant Elementary and graduating from East Ascension High School in 1978. Preceeded in death by his grandson Charles Brady Smith, Mother Eula and Father John Frederic Sr. Two brothers Doug and Donnie Frederic. Survived by his wife of 6 years Kristi Davenport Frederic of Galveston Texas, Son Chase Frederic, Daughters Chatta Frederic, Chanie Frederic Smith and Son in Law Conner Smith. Brothers and wives Dave and Connie Frederic, Johnny and Virginia Frederic and Sister and Brother in Law Janice and Joey Meyers. Sisters in Law Ramona and Jeanne Frederic. A memorial service will be held at Faithful United Methodist Church at 14253 Hwy 431 St.Amant, La. From 10 to 11:30 am Tuesday June 23rd.
