Barbara Sue Rock Franks

Barbara Sue Rock Franks a resident of Port Allen Louisiana died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on February 19, 2020 at age 78. She was born February 22, 1941 in Parkin, Arkansas. She attended Hughes High school where she met and married her high school sweetheart Aaron Franks. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Helen Lucille Rock; brother Jerry Rock; and sisters Lola Curle and Patricia Rogers. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Aaron Franks and three children: daughter Tracy Dazet and her husband Bill; two sons, Michael Franks and wife Laura, and Sean Franks and wife Amanda. She also leaves behind a brother, Don Rock of Elizabeth, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren: Airica, Mark, James, Jessica, Camille, Cole, Aaron Taylor, Megan, Mason, Caleob and Alana; four great grandchildren: Walker, Jack, Tripp, and Benjamin; and special nieces Shirley Pickel and Robin Daigle as well as many other nieces and nephews. Special thanks to New Century Hospice for their compassionate care. Barbara was loved by everyone. She was a mother, a sister, an aunt, and a friend to all. Her absence leaves a void in our hearts and in the hearts of all that knew and loved her. She is now in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
