Michel Joseph Wellmeyer

Michael Wellmeyer, age 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Thursday, January 10, 2020. He was loved by many and rarely met a stranger. Michael believed in living life to the fullest. He was a longtime employee of Community Coffee Co. He was a resident of Hammond, LA with long time roots in St. Bernard Parish. Michael is survived by his mother Patricia Arico, brother Scot Wellmeyer (Gina), sister, Gina Fanara (Fortunato), son, Kevin Wellmeyer and daughter, Stephanie Wellmeyer.  Also, survived by nephews (Ryan, Jonathan, and Ethan), nieces (Bailey and Grace), former wife Lisa Wellmeyer and lifelong friend Donald Miccio.  Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church 2320 Paris Road Chalmette, LA 70043 on Saturday, January 18, 2020.
