Maureen Duhon Langlois

Maureen Duhon Langlois, age 72, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of St. Amant, LA, passed away at home Monday, November 25, 2019. She is survived by her life partner and wife of 33 years, Alice Langlois. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Maurice L. Duhon, Jr., and Elise M. (Guidry) Duhon; her mother-in-law, Iris (Hun) Langlois; her brother-in-law, Richard Dwight Martin; paternal and maternal grandparents; and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by a son Richard Vallet, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Milton, FL; and daughter, Krystal Rae Brignac and husband Richie of Maurepas, LA; and five grandchildren, Seth, Drew, Paige, Savannah, Alexis, and Ricky; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Connie Martin of Alexandria, LA; her sister, Lydia Swarts and husband Barry G. Swarts of Panama City, FL; her brother-in-law, Troy Langlois and wife Marla of Baton Rouge, LA; and 13 nieces and nephews. She was loved by all who knew her especially her friends on the Diversion Canal. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 15710 LA-16, French Settlement, LA, 70733, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. At Mrs. Langlois’s request, her body was cremated.
