Joey Sheldon

A ceremony celebrating the life of Joey Sheldon at 12 noon Friday at Shady Bower Pentecostal Church; wake begins at 10 am. Rev. Joey Myers officiating the service. Joey was born on July 23, 1943 in Denham Springs and passed from this life on November 11, 2019 at The Carpenter House at the age of 76 years. He worked as an insulator most of his adult life; he enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He is survived by his siblings Margie Crozier, Skyler Sheldon (Julia), Albert Shelton (Evelyn), Hulon Sheldon, Carolyn (Charles), Dale Wilson (Bill), Calvin Sheldon, Becky Bankston (Gary) also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Sylvester Clyde and Vergie Mae Hoover Sheldon, siblings Harold Ray Sheldon, Lucsion William Sheldon, Mildred Watts and Barbara Jean Sheldon.
