Geneva “Minerva” Powers

Geneva “Minerva” Powers passed away peacefully on November 11, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She was born September 17, 1946. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Donald J. Powers; her daughters and son in law Mindy and Kevin LaBauve, and Denise Powers; grandchildren Zack Powers, Maddie Edmonston, Maggie and Brody LaBauve, and a sister Linda Braud. She is preceeded in death by her parents Hobson Bourgeois, Jeanette Tullier, and brother J.C. Bourgeois. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
