June Strahan Carter

June Strahan Carter, 71, of Baton Rouge, LA passed away at her home on October 16, 2019. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. After retiring, June spent a lot of time crafting and cooking. She was an avid Saints and LSU fan. She was active in Baton Rouge Little Theatre and loved acting and stage management. She is survived by her son, Christopher Carter (Karen); six grandchildren, Kristen Millon (Ryan), Lauren Carter, Marissa Dufrene, Tyler Bourgeois, Madison Carter and Mackenzie Carter; two great grandchildren, Avalyn Millon and Grayson Millon. She is also survived by her brother Michael Strahan (Lillie) and a host nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Silas (Ben) Carter; parents, Claude and Mildred Strahan; two brothers, Kelly and Merritt Strahan and one sister, Donna Pettitte. A celebration of life open house will be held on November 2, 2019 from 11am to 6pm at her home at 10326 Timberline Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70809. Arrangements with Church Funeral Services, Baton Rouge.
