Patricia Ann Miller Harn

Patricia Ann Miller Harn, age 76, went to be with her savior October 24, 2019. Pat was born March 19, 1943 to Doyle and Myrtle Miller in Mt. Hermon, LA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Myrtle Miller, sisters Dottie Winters, Pauline White and brother Steve Miller. Pat is survived by her daughter and husband, Trish and Donnie Freeman; her three grandchildren, Tori Freeman Parker and husband Brad Parker, Kayla Freeman Vicknair and husband Austin Vicknair, and Micah Freeman; sister Carolyn Miller and brother Perry Miller.

Compassion, integrity, determination, love, respect and heart are some of the words that describe the person Pat was. She was always giving, even if she didn’t have anything to give. Nothing was more important to her than her family whom she loved unconditionally.

Her early days were filled with modeling, managing Merle Norman stores and caring for the elderly. After having her only daughter, she settled in Baton Rouge and worked for many years with Bengal Chemical, Inc. After retiring from Bengal, she helped her daughter run Trish Freeman Insurance Services as office manager and all-around boss lady.

Pat loved to cook, garden, and sew but her favorite pastime was garage sales.  She was the queen of finding hidden treasures. Saturday mornings started early because all the ‘good stuff’ was gone by 8:00 am.

She found beauty in nature and surrounded herself with a magnificent array of plants and flowers. The hummingbirds always had sweet water and her flowers were always blooming because of the love she put into them.

Pat taught us was how to live life. She taught us to save, to cook, to pray and she taught us the importance of a good manicure. She was a diva, a gypsy, and was as spicy as can be. She has forever marked the lives and hearts of those that loved her and will be missed whole-heartedly.

A private gathering was held by immediate family.
