On September 27, 2019 Our Lord called Lucille Elizabeth Lindley home to her heavenly resting place. Liz, as she was known, was originally from Williston, Florida. Born on August 15, 1939, she lived most of her life in Baton Rouge as a local business owner, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and numerous friends and customers. She is survived by her son, John and wife Donna Dees of Watson, daughter Denise and husband Johnny Perales of Millington, TN; three grandsons Michael Dewayne and wife Krystal Dees, Matthew Colby Dees and John Peter Perales; one granddaughter Elena Elizabeth Perales; three great-granddaughters Marissa Nicole  and husband Seth Doiga, Jenna Marie Dees and London Patricia Elizabeth Dees; one great-grandson Brock Michael Lucas Dees; two sisters Lorena Swain of Bronson, FL, Mattie and husband Edwin Blitch also of Bronson, FL. She also leaves behind her favorite brother-in-law John Herbert Stanford; nephews Jimmy and wife Rhonda Stanford, Tommy Stanford, Steven Swain; nieces Tina Stanford and husband Rhett Covington, Charlotte and husband Tim Rodgers and Ivey Prieboy.

She was preceded in death by her parents James Willard and Maude Elizabeth Alford, her beloved sister Ann Stanford, her brother Troy Jack Alford and great-granddaughter Patricia Elizabeth Dees.

She dearly loved all of her family, her friends and her customers.

In lieu of services there will be a private family dinner to celebrate her life. Arrangements made by Church Funeral Services, Walker, LA
