Mark Lebrent Edwards

Mark left his earthly life behind to join his Lord in heaven on Sunday, October 6, 2019. He was 60 years old and is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law; Diane and Richard Laird, Denise and Calvin Jones, Daryl and Mike Walker and a brother Scott Edwards. Mark was also blessed with a large, loving extended family.  He is predeceased by his parents Harold and Juanita Edwards of Baton Rouge. He was born in Baton Rouge, graduated from Tara High School (’77) and was employed by Sikkens Paint before becoming disabled in a motor vehicle accident caused by a drunk driver in May 1990. He has since been a resident of Heritage Manor/Landmark South Nursing Home. Mark was an avid outdoorsman; he loved hunting, fishing and in earlier years motocross racing, but more importantly he loved being with his family and many friends.   Mark, more than anything else, was a people person, and the family would like to thank the many special friends and people that gave of their time and love to support him through his long journey.  Your visits were the brightest part of his day and we cannot thank you enough.
