Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years Julian J. Robert. Proceeded in death by her mother Dorothy Boyd, father-John Pittman and sister- Dottie Pittman. Survived by her sister: Kathy Perry and brother- John Pittman Jr. Survived by her children: Daughter- Angele Fetters and husband Tracy Fetters, Son- Robbie Robert and wife Dani Robert, and stepson-Jody Robert and wife Cathy Robert. Survived by her grandchildren: Jeremy Robert, Christian Fetters and wife Jessica Fetters, Taylor Fetters and Lauren Fussell, Madison Fetters, Olivia Robert and Nevaeh Robert. Great grandchildren: Kaysen Fetters, Cooper Fetters and nieces and nephews. Deborah loved her family and her grandbabies. She was always at every event, every occasion they were involved in. She taught them to love life and to cook and the love of dance. She loved music and loved to dance especially with her husband Julian no matter the song but was partial to swamp pop songs. She was never afraid to grab one of the grandkids and make them dance too. She was my first best friend and the strongest woman I know. We learned how to love unconditionally and give love unconditionally from her because she modeled this to us day in and day out. Some of her family’s earliest memories was their mom either playing the piano or the squeeze box accordion- music like Fats Domino or some other sort of 50’s music. We would like to thank Ascension Baptist for the love and devotion to Julian and Deborah Robert. We would like to thank Louisiana Hematology Oncology and Our Lady of the Lake for the great care especially the ICU unit on the 5th floor.
