Ashley Nicole Pitre

A ceremony celebrating the life of Ashley Nicole Pitre will be held at 11 am Wednesday October 2, 2019 at Household of Faith Church Gonzales; visitation will be Tuesday 5 pm until 7 pm and will resume on Wednesday at 10 am until time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Amant Baptist Church Cemetery. She was born on December 17, 1981 in Baton Rouge and departed from this life on Friday September 27, 2019 at Ochsner Foundation Medical Center New Orleans. Ashley was a unique lady; she will be remembered as a survivor and an encourager. She had a heart of gold and a love for life and everyone; she never met a stranger and always lite up any room she entered no matter the number of people that were there. She had a passion for conversation; and in her presence, silence was never known; because she could talk nonstop! She saw good in everyone; and always gave forgiveness; no matter what wrong had been done. She was preceded in death by her father Carl James Pitre. Survivors include her mother Patti Ann Munro; her fiancé Kelly Salassi; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; also survived by her fur baby “Dixie”, her feather baby “Pepper”, and many friends.
