Martha Lynn Legg

A ceremony celebrating the life of Martha Lynn Legg will be 3 pm Friday August 30, 2019 at The Church in St Amant. Martha was born on August 21, 1956 in Lumberton, Mississippi and departed from this life on Wednesday August 28, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 63 years. She was a native of Mississippi and a resident of Pierre Part; her joy and passion was time spent with her family and especially her grandkids. She will also be remembered for her love of sunsets and nature. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert L. and Ida Barnett Legg. Survivors include her husband John R. James; sons James Gordon (Girlie) and Russell Gordon; stepchildren Kristen James, Cory Thomas James (Amanda); her sister Marcia Legg Johnson (Albert); her grandchildren Robert, Jace and Daniel; step granddaughter Addison; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
