Jestin Dunn

A ceremony celebrating the life of Jestin J. Dunn will be 10 am Thursday at The Church in St Amant; visitation will begin at 8 am. Interment will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery Gonzales. Jestin was born on February 9, 2000 and departed from this life on August 17, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 19 years. Jestin enjoyed competing in wrestling matches in high school; and working outdoors, currently working as a landscaper. He loved kids, animals, and time spent with friends and family. He will be remembered by his huge giving heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Jestin died from results of an accident, however, in death he gave the gift of life to at least eight others through organ donation. He is preceded by his grandfather James Dunn. Survivors include his mother April Dunn (Jason Moree); father Joey Oncale; siblings Avriel, Elise, Brianna, Sarah, Brooklynn, Liam, Khloe and Miracle; grandparents Tammy Dunn, Patrick and Arlene Oncale; great grandmother Kathleen Diprimo; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
