Mary Roppolo Pitslata

“The Lord is my Shepard, I shall not want.”  Psalm 23:1. Mary was 95, a resident of Denham Springs and a native of Melville, LA.  She was life long housewife and mother.  She died at her home surrounded by loving family on January 14th.  Visitation will be held on January 19th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs, LA from 9:30am to 11:00am.  Mass will be held afterwards and followed by a burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Mary is survived by Daughter and Son-in-law Mary Frances Cambre and Paul Cambre.  Son and daughter-in-Law Tony Pitslata Jr and Kim Pitslata.  Three sisters Josephine Miletello and husband Mitchell of Monroe.  Margaret Canezaro and husband Angelo of Marinqouin.  Frances Faye Davison and husband Bobby of Montpelier.  Surviving sister-in-laws Mary Roppolo, Elenor Roppolo, Vivian Pitslata.  Two grandsons Jude Anthony Cambre and wife Mary Schmitt Cambre.  Damian Paul Cambre and wife Jeri Vaughn Cambre.  Four Great Grandchildren Grace Elizabeth Cambre, Jude Edward Cambre, Keegan Paul Cambre, Kason Winfield Cambre.  Three step Grandchildren, Addie Pena Thomey, Ashley LaMana, Jason Gagliano.  Mary is preceded in death by her parents Nick and Frances Roppolo, husband Tony Pitslata Sr., two brothers Tony Roppolo, and Victor Roppolo, Sister Lena Rockforte, niece Trudy Blanchard, two nephews Michael Ray Miletello, and Christopher Brent Davison.  Special thanks to Mary’s niece Margarita Landry and caregivers, Dawny Turpin, Crystal Markins, and Heart of Hospice.  Pallbearers will be Jude Cambre, Damian Cambre, Bobby Davison, Roy Canezaro, Nick Roppolo, Nick Rockforte, Larry Miletello. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary Roppolo Pitslata, to be used by her family to honor her life through St. Jude Children’s Hospital, to give a gift of love please visit https://www.inlieuof.com/st-amant/mary-roppolo-pitslata
