A Mass celebrating the life of Jackie Rouyea Fellows will be 12 noon Saturday at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church; visitation will begin at 10 am. Officiating will be Fr. Jerry Martin.
Jackie was a resident of Prairieville and a native of Baton Rouge. A loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt; she passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 22, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center, at the age of 51 years.
She retired after a thirty years career. Jackie was an unbelievable strong woman who enjoyed early mornings with her sister, late night phone calls with her mother, her dog Lily; and every moment of her children’s lives. She enjoyed sporting events and especially family gatherings. She brought faith, hope and love into the lives of many.
She is preceded in death by her spouse Jeffery Gordon Fellows; father Roy Rouyea Jr, grandparents William Roddy Sr, Ida Edmonston Roddy, Roy Rouyea Sr and Elmese Young Rouyea.
Survived by her daughter Elizabeth Joy Fellows, son Evan Joseph Fellows, mother Linda Roddy Moran, Sister Stacey Rouyea Madere (Neal), and nephew Cody James Poche.
