Glenda W. Wheat

Glenda Wheat went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior at 4:24am Thursday, November 8, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 65 years old and a life long resident of Livingston, La. She was retired from LPSB. She was an avid hunter and loved being in the woods and outdoors. She was a devoted Christian and member of Colyell Baptist Church. Her incredible love and kindness were felt by anyone in her presence, and she never met a stranger. Visitation will be at Colyell Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 10:00am until funeral at 2:00pm, officiated by Clifton Wheat and Pastor Jeremy Glascock. She is survived by the love of her life, Ricky Lynn Wheat, of 48 years; daughter, Alicha Wheat; and her two grandchildren that were every beat of her heart, Bryan Dakota and Lily Bryanne McDonald, a very special granddaughter Makenzee Paige Wascom; and a very much loved and adored second daughter Maddie Felps; her mother Margaret Wheat; twin sister Brenda Wheat; sister, Joy Wheat Ricks and husband Barry Ricks; brother, Lane Wheat and wife DeeDee; brother Tim “Timbo” Wheat; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph “Bill” Wheat; a sister, Delores “Goldie” Pollard; father and mother, in law C.K. and Lillie Wheat; two nephews, Danny and Brent Pollard; and brother in law Wayne Pollard. Pallbearers are Joseph “Duck” and Kennie Wascom, Travis Ricks, and Mike, Mason, and Cody Wheat.
