Helen Heath

Helen Hanna Heath, a resident of St. Amant, left this earth on Thursday, November 1, 2018 to join her Heavenly Father and loved ones who have gone before her. Visiting at First Baptist Church of Gonzales from 9:00am until religious services at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Services will be conducted by Rev. George Haile and Rev. Jim Law. Burial at New River Baptist Church in St. Amant. She is survived by daughter, Sue Heath, St. Amant; a son and daughter-in-law, Ted R. and Bobbye S. Heath, Baton Rouge, two grandchildren, Scott and Becca Heath and great- grandson Ashton. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. (“J.B.”) Heath, Jr., brothers Ewell and Ray Hanna, sisters Grace Strauss, Ethel, Hettie and Myrla Hanna, and nephews Jim and Bobby Aymond. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, always there to lend a helping hand. A long-time member of First Baptist Church in Gonzales, she had a strong and abiding faith and was loved by all who knew her. Pallbearers will be Kevin and Kyle Hanna, Kirk, Rothel, and James Aymond, and Jordan Harper. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home, P.O.
