Natalie Hill Hood died peacefully at the age of 85 surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 19, 2018 at The Crossing in Baton Rouge. She was a resident of Denham Springs and a native of Watson. She was a retired school bus driver with the Livingston Parish School System. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Denham Springs on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 10:00 AM until religious services at 1:00 PM conducted by Pastor Leo Miller. Burial will be at the Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by her High School Sweetheart and husband of 65 years, Donald Ray Hood; daughter, Ladonne Hood; son, Mike Hood and Fiance’ Kim Chambers; 3 grandchildren, Dustin Hood and wife Angela, Leighann Biggio and husband Chad, and Tyler Hood; 8 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Cohen, Caden, Autumn and Morgan Hood, Harper, Hadleigh and Blakely Biggio; 1 great-great-grandson, Kayson Hood; sister, Marlene Hill Milton; brothers, Lancy Hill and wife Greta and Bob Hill; brother-in-law, Elgene Hood and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Lancy Hill, Sr.; mother, Bessie Kennard Hill Jones; stepfather, William Lee Jones; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clyde and Oma Hood; brother-in-law, George Milton; sisters-in-law, Barbara Hill and Frances Hood. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Denham Springs. Natalie will be remembered for her unselfish dedication to her family and compassion for her friends and neighbors. In lieu of flowers, family request memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Denham Springs Building Fund, 27735 LA Hwy. 16, Denham Springs, LA 70726. Church Funeral Services in Walker is in charge of arrangements.
